Roland + Amy: 1.22.11 The Victorian, Santa Monica

I love it when I have a client that not only hires me to capture their beautiful day, but allows me inside of their personal lives by chatting it up on Facebook or email.  Amy and Rolando are that couple.  They rock the Casbah.  They're Jiggy with it.  They're the bee's knees.

We started the day with getting photos at the hotel off 3rd Street Promenade.  We soon headed off to the beautiful Victorian off Main street.  This Victorian style home is amazing.  Wedding upstairs, hanging lights outside, downstairs bar/restaurant that I'm still not sure what else was going on down there.  It was like a separate bar hangout or something, or maybe just another private rental area.  Either way it was cool.  With a first look, tears and all, we took as many photos to start as we could.  The ceremony site upstairs was going to be close quarters, but the ambiance was awesome.  Both Rolando and Amy looked amazing and were in good spirits for the events to start.  After a beautiful ceremony, food and drinks outside.  And what do we find at the reception, Vanilla Bake Shop Mini Cupcakes, the same ones I had at my own wedding.  Great minds think alike!!  :-)

Awesome day, amazing night, wonderful couple.  These are the wedding I love to shoot.  Big congratulations to Amy and Rolando, may your lives be filled with happiness and love!!

This is so inspiring. I'm a writer and I do write wedding articles and definitely I would recommend your service to other possible clients. Good job!
